The end of the school year, summer officially starts, Father\u2019s Day and birthdays! Seriously, a lot of birthdays! My hubby has a June birthday, our youngest is a June baby, and two of my brother-in-law\u2019s have June birthdays. Let\u2019s just say, we have a decent amount of cake in this house during the month of June! And with June also being National Give a Bunch of Balloons Month and National Candy Month, it\u2019s a great time to have a baby and celebrate!\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>June babies not only share a birthday month with Dad\u2019s special day, but they also share it with some pretty awesome celebrities, too! Marilyn Monroe, Angelina Jolie, Courtney Cox, Paul McCartney, Chris Evans, Prince Phillip, Chris Pratt, Nicole Kidman, and Tom Holland all celebrate their birthdays during the month of June. So, if you\u2019re keeping track, Captain America, Starlord, <em>AND<\/em> Spiderman were all born in June. Maybe June babies are most likely to become superheroes?! Interesting\u2026<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>So, if you have a child who was born in June, or you\u2019re expecting a baby this month, here are 6 awesome facts about babies born in June!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">They&#8217;re more likely to be tall<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cell.com\/heliyon\/fulltext\/S2405-8440(15)30241-3#Abstract\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">According to a British Study<\/a>, you could literally be looking up to your June baby! Those born in June are more likely to be bigger and grow into tall adults. It\u2019s speculated that, due to all the extra sunshine when they\u2019re born, summer babies get more vitamin D which makes them more likely to be tall! Who knew?!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">They could be a Nobel Prize winner<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Your little June baby might end up being a genius! <a href=\"https:\/\/techtinkering.com\/2011\/08\/24\/does-when-you-were-born-affect-your-chance-of-becoming-a-nobel-laureate\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">An analysis of Nobel Laureates<\/a> found that a surprisingly high number of Nobel Prize winners were born in June. I mean, there\u2019s no guarantee obviously, but simply being born in June gives them a higher chance of accomplishing great things!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">They&#8217;re a twin or a crab<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Babies born in June fall under two pretty cool star signs \u2013 Gemini or Cancer. Those born before June 20<sup>th<\/sup> fall under Gemini and are said to be highly intelligent, quick-witted, and indecisive. (With two Geminis in the house, I can definitely back up the indecisive part!) Those born after the 20<sup>th<\/sup> fall under the Cancer sign and are known for being loyal and loving.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">They get 3 birthstones<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Most of us only get one birthstone. June babies however, have THREE birthstones! According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.americangemsociety.org\/birthstones\/june-birthstones\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">American Gem Society<\/a>, June birthstones include the pearl, alexandrite, or moonstone. So, those born in June have options! Which is awesome, especially if your June baby is one of those indecisive Gemini\u2019s we just talked about!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">They aren&#8217;t S.A.D.<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>If you\u2019re not familiar, SAD stands for Seasonal Affective Disorder. It\u2019s a disorder many people experience during the long, cold winter months. However, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/nn.2699\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">an article published in Nature Neuroscience<\/a> found that babies born in June (and July &amp; August) are less likely to develop SAD, which means they\u2019re happier than most during those dreaded winter months!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">They have classic birth flowers<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Did you know that every month has a birthstone AND a birth flower? I sure didn\u2019t. In fact, I couldn\u2019t even tell you what my birth month\u2019s flower is. June, however, is represented by TWO classic flowers: the rose and honeysuckle. Roses signify romance, while honeysuckle stands for happiness. Can\u2019t go wrong with either of those, right?<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>As I said, June is pretty big month for celebrations in our house. I\u2019m a fan of June because we have so many things to celebrate on a personal level, but also because summer begins, school ends and our kids look forward to both of those things!
