After researching this sign, I\u2019ve learned that one of the greatest features of Pisceans is their ability to heal others. So, if you\u2019re expecting a little Pisces soon, or you already have one at home, you\u2019ll always have an excellent supporter by your side. Or on your lap. Or clinging to your leg. Or knocking on the bathroom door while you\u2019re just trying to do your thing in peace. Okay, that last part is true for <strong><u>ALL<\/u><\/strong> children \u2013 not just Pisces children. Here is how to raise a Pisces.<\/p>\n<p>Whenever I\u2019m researching zodiac signs, I always think of the people I know who fall under each sign so I can see if the stereotypes match up. For Pisces I noticed &#8211; I don\u2019t know a lot of Pisces. I\u2019m usually able to think of at least a handful of people, but for Pisces, I\u2019ve got two.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s cool about these two people though? One is my sister-in-law, a married mother of three teenage boys, and the other is my 12-year-old son\u2019s best friend. Complete opposites, right? So, if they have anything in common, it must be because of their zodiac sign! Well, it\u2019s possible anyway.<\/p>\n<p>If you\u2019re currently raising a little Pisces, or you\u2019re expecting one to arrive soon, let\u2019s see what the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zodiacsign.com\/zodiac-signs\/pisces\/\"><strong>experts<\/strong><\/a> have to say about what you can look forward to in the years ahead!<\/p>\n<p>First, we\u2019ll start with the basics of the Pisces sign.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Birthdate \u2013 February 19 \u2013 March 20<\/li>\n<li>Element \u2013 Water Sign<\/li>\n<li>Symbol \u2013 The Two Fish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>When it comes to personality, it\u2019s said that Pisces are greatly influenced by the previous sign, Aquarius. While Pisces have a wide range of qualities and characteristics from Aquarius, from what I\u2019ve read, Pisces are MUCH more sensitive, emotional, and empathetic.<\/p>\n<p>Below is a list of typical positive and negative traits of Pisces. Your little one probably doesn\u2019t have <em>ALL<\/em> these traits, but they likely have some. (You can find the whole list <a href=\"https:\/\/astromix.net\/blog\/pisces-traits\/?msclkid=41091addc0b411ec9466f3ac2aef5a4e\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>)<\/p>\n<h6><strong><u>Positive Traits <\/u><\/strong><\/h6>\n<p><strong>Empathy <\/strong>\u2013 Remember what I said about Pisces being a healer? Well, empathy is one of their strongest traits. Other people\u2019s emotions are often more important than their own, and they have a desire to support, help, and heal others in their time of need.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Generosity<\/strong> \u2013 The most selfless sign of the zodiac is Pisces. They\u2019re so generous, they often put other people\u2019s needs before their own. They always want to make people happy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sensitivity \u2013 <\/strong>When I think of Pisces, sensitivity always comes to mind. They feel things quite deeply and react to pretty much everything emotionally.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Forgiveness <\/strong>\u2013 Grudges? What grudges?! Pisceans never hold a grudge for a long time. They forgive easily.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Compassion <\/strong>\u2013 If you\u2019re feeling sad or need to talk, find the nearest Pisces. They always demonstrate sympathy and concern towards others.<\/p>\n<h6><strong><u>Negative Traits <\/u><\/strong><\/h6>\n<p><strong>Too Many Emotions <\/strong>\u2013 Can one really be TOO emotional? Apparently, yes. Pisceans are known for being overly emotional and are often not able to control their emotions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Laziness <\/strong>\u2013 If you\u2019re raising a Pisces, it\u2019s very important to motivate them or they will quickly just lose the desire to do anything.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Moodiness <\/strong>\u2013 Since they\u2019re too emotional, Pisceans are often in a bad mood and can have mood swings quite suddenly. Raising a Pisces will require a fair amount of patience and understanding.<\/p>\n<p>Now that we know a little bit more about Pisces, let\u2019s see what they stereotypically like and dislike. While researching this sign, I noticed there was a longer list of likes for Pisces than there were for other signs. So, I included an extra one! Obviously, not everyone born under this sign is the same, but this might give you a bit of insight.<\/p>\n<h6><strong><u>Likes <\/u><\/strong><\/h6>\n<p><strong>Being Alone <\/strong>\u2013 While other signs enjoy being around people, Pisceans have no problem being alone. They like their own company.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Love <\/strong>\u2013 They like being in love and can often be described as hopeless romantics.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Swimming<\/strong> \u2013 It\u2019s funny, the two Pisceans I know and mentioned earlier are both big fans of swimming.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sleeping \u2013 <\/strong>This is a great one for those early years raising a Pisces. Fingers crossed they sleep through the night and happily embrace nap time. Is that being overly optimistic??<\/p>\n<h6><strong><u>Dislikes<\/u><\/strong><\/h6>\n<p><strong>Know It All\u2019s <\/strong>\u2013 I hear ya, Pisces. Nobody likes a know-it-all!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Being Criticized<\/strong> \u2013 Some signs can take criticism and just let it roll off their back. For Pisces, criticism will need to be worded a little more delicately.<\/p>\n<p>So, in a nutshell, Pisceans should be your go-to sign if you\u2019re in need of compassion or a listening ear. If you\u2019re thinking these characteristics sound nothing like your little Pisces, they might be on the cusp of another zodiac sign and have more of those traits.<\/p>\n<p>For instance, if their birthday is February 19<sup>th<\/sup> to 22<sup>nd<\/sup>, they may have more Aquarius traits. If their birthday is around March 18<sup>th<\/sup> to 20<sup>th<\/sup>, they may have more Aries traits.
