The winter blues. Those feelings that creep up in the middle of winter and sometimes…we just can’t shake ‘em. They can be a very real thing for some people. Winter is cold, filled with snow, and depending on where you live – A LOT of darkness. Plenty of people feel a little down during the winter months due to being stuck inside more, or not dealing with the cold very well. But I say…winter blues can take a hike! (You can literally take a winter hike if you want! That will help too!)

No matter who you are or what you do, money is a part of your everyday life. It could be that you’re budget conscious, paying off student debt or weighing different investment options, or it may be that you struggle to make ends meet between pay cheques. I grew up LOVING Christmas. I still do! There’s just something about the holiday season that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. I’m like a happy little snowflake this time of year. My husband, on the other hand, is what I like to call a grumpy elf – and he fully admits it! He’s never been a huge fan of Christmas, but I feel like I’m slowly turning him into a lover of all things festive. He might disagree, but the Christmas lights, candy canes and inflatable Santa, Frosty and Mickey Mouse on our front lawn that I had absolutely nothing to do with…tell me otherwise.
